Came up from Cornwall for the bike show & stayed with my sister at Kings Walden, think I should've left the Cornish weather down here :-( Still had a good time though & will be back next year, hopefully in blazing sunshine.

Boohoo , gli2000@hotmail.com and friend!!!!! It`s not working, so give up. No one is listening to you and we will not let you onto our website to carry on spreading your sick poison. Accept the fact that no one likes you and no one wants you any where near us. If you really want to fleece good honest working bikers go away and try to set up a show with your `new friends`. This will involve working which I know is something new to you. I am sure this will prove to your `new friends` and many more people what a wonderful, honest and caring person you really are, ha ha ha !! IF YOU WANT MONEY , GET A JOB.

I have been at every Offley show since the first one and at every charity cheque presentation and seen cheques for thousands of pounds handed over to the chosen charity,s .perhaps i am missing something .Maybe the charities are secretly handing the money back later . Get a life dickhead and dont make accusations you cannot substantiate

Oh dear, you sad, dellusional benefit cheat ( who can`t spell or write correct english ) The only charity you are interested in is YOU. You are so so greedy and lazy, you think the whole world owes you a living. You have no morals and are quite happy to sit on your fat backside counting your benefit money, that us hard working tax payers fund, and sell your dodgy goods on Ebay. I think we could safely say that you are the one running all of the scams not us. Why do you think we no longer want anything to do with you.
For those of you who are genuinely interested in what we do and not what you can get from us, here are a few facts.
1. We are not a charity, and do not call ourselves a charity. We DONATE to charity so we do not need to be registered.
2. ALL of the charities we DONATE to are registered.
3. We keep thorough accounts which any of our organisers are welcome to see.
4. The organisers are given a full breakdown of expenditure and DONATIONS after every show.
5. We have a presentation night two weeks after every show to present the cheques to the chosen charities and everyone is welcome to come along, except the narrow minded benefit cheat who thinks he is being clever.
6. Over the past eight years we have DONATED nearly £20,000 to charity.
7. Our DONATIONS have gone towards the restoration of Offley Church, SERV the bloodrunners, Headway, Autism for children and Harpenden Community meeting point.
8. We always try to DONATE to smaller charities as a lot of people raise money for the larger ones.
9. Yes, we do not give every penny we take to charity as we have expenses that include utilities such as portable toilets for the weekend, disposing of rubbish, paying for up to six bands and a DJ to keep people entertained all weekend, there are a lot of costs that are all logged in our accounts along with reciepts. We also have to keep back enough funds to get us started the following year, as anyone who organises a regular event will understand.
I hope this is informative to those of you who are interested and as for you, benefit cheat, who cares what you think!

Hi,

Had a great time at GOBS 2011. Could I pop something in the suggestion box? How about some *originals* rather than covers bands? Problem with several covers bands is they're gonna repeat the same songs. Bare Bones Boogie Band do a great set, and were at MAG's Chinnor Days bike show recently. They also appeared at the Red Lion in Stevenage a few months back and supported the Groundhogs at their 100 Club appearance. Tea For The Wicked are another great band. A friend put them on at a pub near Epping recently, and they went down a storm.

Looking forward to GOBS 2012.

Bear.
